Job summary

Raylo is seeking a Risk Operations Lead in Belfast to head the US night operations for fraud, credit risk, and insurance decisioning. You will lead four Associates in a hands-on, player-coach role and build scalable, data-driven processes.

You will own decisions, ensure high-quality risk judgments, and collaborate with the broader Risk team to set consistent standards. Hybrid work includes 4 days in Belfast and 1 day remote.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in team leadership and fraud, credit risk, or insurance decisioning.
• Live-domain mastery in fraud and credit risk.
• Player-coach approach leading from the front on live cases.
• Curiosity and modern tool literacy using data, AI and smart tooling.
• Communication and ability to give clear handovers to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Run the night shift – lead a team of four Associates for the US customer base.
• Own decisions using established risk standards to decide on hold, resolve or escalate cases.
• Maintain a hands-on approach by handling live casework in fraud, credit risk and insurance.
• Drive operational performance by overseeing queue health, SLAs, quality and capacity.
• Coach and develop the team through live casework and real-time guidance.
• Turn data into action by identifying risk trends and implementing countermeasures.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align decisioning frameworks.
• Shape scalable operations with evidence-based recommendations on capacity and shift patterns.
