Job summary

Raylo in Belfast is seeking a Risk Operations Associate to safeguard our leasing risk while ensuring a smooth customer experience. You’ll work with fraud, credit, and KYC tools to assess risk, make objective decisions, and support scalable growth in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll collaborate with the Risk Operations Manager to refine onboarding journeys, investigate fraud, and improve procedures. This role requires in-office work with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote in Belfast, offering hybrid

Qualifications

• 1 year of FCA-regulated consumer finance risk experience.
• Experience with KYC verification tools such as CIFAS or similar.
• Strong data analysis using Google Sheets/Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer and business application referrals with fraud, credit, and KYC platforms.
• Lead fraud investigations and ensure compliant decisions.
• Optimize risk workflows to improve fraud prevention and approval rate.
• Monitor risk trends and emerging fraud tactics.
• Develop fraud detection strategies with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Ensure flexibility in Risk Operations including occasional after-hours work.
