Job summary

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Urology Clinical Fellow to join the Female, Reconstructive and Adolescent service for a 12-month fixed term post in London. The fellow will work with expert consultants in a tertiary centre, rotating on-call 1 in 16 to cover emergencies.

Qualifications

Must have eligible GMC registration and current licence to practice.
Completion of core surgical training.
Substantive Registrar-level experience in Urology.
Proven ability to carry out high quality research, leading to publication.
Involvement in the clinical audit process and an understanding of its aims and objectives.
Understanding and proven ability to apply research findings in a clinical/organisation context.

Responsibilities

Attend ward rounds, clinics and assist in theatre.
Take part in audit and research projects.
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate students and other staff groups.
Participate in the urology on-call rota (1 in 16) to support emergency admissions.
