Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License. Full Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership. Mandatory Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).
The Fraser Health, Surrey Memorial Hospital Urology Group is looking to add a member to their current team of four, due to the impending retirement of a colleague. The new member will share elective OR resources with the current team, as no additional resources are provided with this position.
The Surrey team seeks an individual experienced in general urology, capable of performing a wide range of procedures from oncology, including complex surgeries such as radical cystectomy, prostatectomy, kidney cancer procedures, to reconstructive procedures like sling and sphincter placement. The candidate should be prepared for common on-call duties. Active participation in monthly Uro-oncology rounds is required, and prior work experience is an asset.
As a member of Fraser Health medical staff, the successful candidate will participate in the University of British Columbia (UBC) medical education program and is expected to apply for a clinical faculty appointment in the Division of Urology, UBC.
