University Hospitals Tees invites applications for a permanent Urgent Care Practitioner to join the Urgent Care Team. You may provide cross-site coverage across the UTCs at South Tees Hospital NHS Trust, North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, and Redcar UTC, as part of the Tees Valley Alliance.
The role requires an NMC/HCPC-registered nurse or paramedic, a Nursing degree or Paramedic registration, and clinical skills in adults or paediatrics.
We have an exciting opportunity available for a permanent Urgent Care Practitioner to join our Urgent Care Team. You will be part of a forward thinking and dynamic directorate which may require cross site working to meet the needs of the service, i.e short notice sickness cover. This incorporates the Urgent Treatment Centres based at South Tees Hospital NHS Trust, North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and Redcar Urgent Treatment Centre, which forms part of the Tees Valley Alliance.
For the right candidate a training role will be considered if they meet the following essential criteria Registered nurse/paramedic with the NMC/HCPC. Degree in Nursing or Registered Paramedic. Clinical Skills Adult or Paediatric and willing to work towards full clinical competency and Recognised Teaching qualification (Facilitation Learning in Clinical Practice or ENB 998).
