Job summary

University Hospitals Tees invites applications for a permanent Urgent Care Practitioner to join the Urgent Care Team. You may provide cross-site coverage across the UTCs at South Tees Hospital NHS Trust, North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, and Redcar UTC, as part of the Tees Valley Alliance.

The role requires an NMC/HCPC-registered nurse or paramedic, a Nursing degree or Paramedic registration, and clinical skills in adults or paediatrics.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse/paramedic with the NMC/HCPC.
• Degree in Nursing or Registered Paramedic.
• Clinical Skills Adult or Paediatric and willing to work towards full clinical competency and Recognised Teaching qualification (Facilitation Learning in Clinical Practice or ENB 998).

Responsibilities

• Cross-site working to meet service needs, including short notice sickness cover.
• Participation in leadership and quality improvement training and development programmes.
