Job summary

gtd healthcare is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join the City Health Centre Walk-in Service in Manchester City Centre. The role delivers safe, effective, and timely assessment, treatment and onward referral with face-to-face and telephone clinics.

You will hold an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or credentialing, plus Non-Medical Prescribing, and work across four pillars of practice in a busy urgent care environment.

Qualifications

• MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or credentialing qualification (or equivalent).
• Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
• Ability to work within the four pillars of practice.

Responsibilities

• Undertake holistic assessment and clinical examination of patients of all ages with minor and complex needs.
• Plan, implement and evaluate management plans ensuring safe discharge/referral.
• Provide information on prescribed or OTC meds, including side-effects and interactions.
• Prioritise health problems and intervene in complex/urgent situations, including emergency care.
• Refer and discharge safely with safety-netting advice.
• Triage telephone referrals and external referrals into appropriate services.
