Job summary

NEMS Advanced Clinical Practitioner role across urgent care services, delivering both telephone and face-to-face assessments with autonomous clinical decision-making and safe patient care. • Registered clinician with current professional registration and scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Autonomous telephone and face-to-face assessment of patients with urgent care needs.
• Safe clinical decision-making including treatment, discharge, referral and transfer.
• Recognition and escalation of serious illness and safeguarding concerns.
• Clinical leadership, supervision and support for the wider team.
• Participation in governance, audit, learning and service improvement.
