Job summary

HUC is recruiting Advanced Clinical Practitioners (Nurses and Paramedics with V300 Non-medical Prescribing) to deliver urgent and unscheduled care across OOH and CAS pathways in Cambridgeshire. You will perform autonomous assessments, triage, and manage patient care across telephone, remote, and in-person consultations.

The role requires an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent, NMC/HCPC registration, and standalone decision-making in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent credentialing.
• NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC registration.
• Minor Illness Level 6/7 qualification or equivalent.
• Minor Injury Level 6/7 qualification or equivalent.
• Advanced Clinical Assessment Level 6/7 qualification or equivalent.
• Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification.

Responsibilities

• Undertake autonomous clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment and discharge across OOH and CAS.
• Manage a wide range of minor illnesses and injuries (ENT and ophthalmic presentations).
• Provide telephone, remote, and face-to-face consultations with effective triage and prioritisation.
• Recognise and escalate acutely unwell patients or safeguarding concerns.
• Prescribe, review and recommend treatment options per clinical governance.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to audits and service development.
