Job summary

FM Conway Ltd is seeking a talented Highway Design Engineer to join our Consultancy team in Sevenoaks. You will lead highway and public realm design from feasibility through to detailed design, liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure delivery on time and to budget.

You will work closely with the Senior Engineer and project teams, applying DMRB and Traffic Signs Manual guidance while developing innovative, sustainable urban solutions across London and the Southeast.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or equivalent with design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design highway and public realm solutions from feasibility to detailed design.
• Prepare feasibility reports, drawings, schedules, bills of quantities and cost estimates.
• Undertake design checking and QA to maintain high technical standards.
• Identify risks, monitor budgets and programmes, and report changes.
