Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Urban Drainage Modeller to join our Northern teams in Newcastle or Leeds. You will apply urban drainage modelling expertise across projects from concept through design and delivery, supporting major UK water programmes and contributing to innovative modelling approaches.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, developing hydraulic models, analysing outputs, and providing recommendations to clients and project teams, helping improve water quality and resilience of

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in urban drainage or wastewater modelling.
• Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and understanding of hydraulic modelling principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop, verify and maintain hydraulic models using InfoWorks ICM.
• Undertake urban drainage and wastewater modelling studies to support client investment and operational decisions.
• Work on projects covering storm overflows, water quality, network performance, urban pollution and flood risk.
• Analyse modelling outputs and provide clear technical recommendations to clients and project teams.
• Collaborate with engineers, modellers, environmental specialists, clients and partners.
• Support the delivery of projects across UK water company frameworks.
