Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Urban Drainage Modeller to join our expanding teams across Warrington, Manchester, Birmingham, Derby, Cardiff or Bristol. You’ll deliver urban drainage and wastewater modelling, develop hydraulic models with InfoWorks ICM, and work with multidisciplinary teams to improve resilience and environmental outcomes.

You will contribute to a broad range of UK water sector projects, advance your modelling expertise, and participate in client meetings, site visits and workshops while

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Engineering, Geography or a related discipline.
• Experience in urban drainage, wastewater or hydraulic modelling.
• Practical experience developing, working with or analysing hydraulic models.
• Experience using InfoWorks ICM.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic modelling principles and wastewater networks.

Responsibilities

• Undertake urban drainage and wastewater modelling activities across UK water projects.
• Develop, update and analyse hydraulic models using InfoWorks ICM and GIS tools.
• Support modelling assessments covering wastewater networks, storm overflows, flooding, water quality and network performance.
• Analyse and interpret modelling outputs to identify network issues and potential solutions.
• Prepare technical information, reports and project deliverables to a high standard.
• Collaborate with modellers, engineers, environmental specialists and client teams.
