Job summary

Glennon Brothers Group is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician in Invergordon to diagnose faults and repair key process equipment, supporting production to minimise downtime. Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain plant infrastructure, including PLCs and control systems.

You will work with planned maintenance, read electrical diagrams, and apply problem-solving skills across bearings, drives, pumps, and conveyors as part of a permanent, full-time role with 42-hour weeks

Qualifications

• Time served dual-trained electrical and mechanical engineer.
• Experience in an industrial environment.
• C&G/NVQ qualification or equivalent.
• Edition qualification.
• Experience with motor controls and sensing/control systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems.
• Troubleshooting, fault finding and repairs.
• Ability to read electrical drawings for fault diagnosis.
• Computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Set a positive example in compliance and ownership.
• Use risk assessments and safe systems of work for tasks.
• Promote health and safety awareness among staff.
• Ensure policies and guidelines are followed with risk assessments.
• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across plant.
• Inspect equipment, report issues and repair.
• Diagnose faults and repair using proper tools.
• Coordinate with production to keep machinery in order.
• Perform weekly/monthly checks as per maintenance system.
• Document changes and maintain records; support root-cause analysis.
