Job summary

Escape in Edinburgh, a fast paced manufacturing client, is recruiting a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team and support the engineering function. The role includes proactive and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment, and prioritising workload when supervisor is absent to keep downtime to a minimum.

The candidate should be apprentice trained with HND/HNC or equivalent or multiskilled qualification; experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes and motors preferred;

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained or HND/HNC or equivalent.
• Fast paced manufacturing experience is desirable.
• Working knowledge of conveyors, pumps, gearboxes & motors.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and reactive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• In absence of immediate supervisor, prioritise workload to minimise downtime.
• Support installation of new machines and equipment to manufacturer specifications.

4 on 4 off shift pattern.

The role:

• Proactive/reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• In the absence of immediate supervisor, assess and prioritise your own workload to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
• Support the install of new machines and equipment to manufacturer specifications.The candidate:
