Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Inverness. You will be responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

The role offers a supportive engineering team and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement, read electrical drawings, and fault-find across PLC systems.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on maintenance with electrical and mechanical faults.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Experience with PLCs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns and perform repairs to minimise downtime.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on site machinery.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the factory.

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.
• Experienced Maintenance Engineer with exposure to both Mechanical and Electrical faults

Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
• Able to read Electrical drawings

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLC’s, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
