Job summary

Nicholas Associates is seeking an Upholsterer to join the Manufacturing and Production team in Heanor. The role focuses on upholstering bespoke mouldings, reading engineering drawings, and operating sewing machines to create material fire seals for oil, gas, marine, and defence sectors.

The position offers a 37.5-hour week with overtime paid at x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays, with potential progression to Team Leader at a higher rate. 30 days holidays and a salary sacrifice pension are included.

Qualifications

• Experience operating sewing machinery.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Following SOPs and instructions precisely.
• Comfortable in a factory production setting.
