Pertemps Telford is seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join a busy furniture manufacturing workshop in Telford. You will upholster frames and finished pieces, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and finishes.

We are looking for proven upholstery experience with traditional or modern techniques, and you should be confident with pneumatic staple guns, cutting tools, and upholstery equipment. Reading job sheets and maintaining safety and quality are essential.

• Good physical stamina and manual handling capability.

Responsibilities

• Upholstering furniture frames using foams, fabrics, leathers, and trims.

• Fitting webbing, springs, padding, and coverings.
• Completing repairs, refurbishments, and re-upholstery work.
• Working to production schedules and quality standards.

Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30-16:30 (Early finish on a Friday)

Contract: Temp-to-Perm

About the Role

We're recruiting a skilled Upholsterer to join a growing furniture manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for upholstering a variety of products, from frames to finished pieces, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Upholstering furniture frames using foams, fabrics, leathers, and trims
• Cutting materials to size using hand and power tools
