Job summary

Envision Education is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant SEND school in Hemel Hempstead. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, supporting children's learning, development and personal growth. A DBS (child & adult) and references are required.

You should live locally or within commuting distance and be available immediately. Experience with children is essential; duties include 1:1 support, creating a safe and engaging learning environment, and collaborating

Qualifications

• Must be available immediately.
• Willing to support SEND children as a SEND TA.
• Must have a Child & Adult DBS or be willing to obtain one.
• Live local to Hemel Hempstead or within commuting distance.

We are recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants to work within a fantastic SEND School, located in the Hemel Hempstead area. This will be a full time role, from Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will need to be confident supporting the children with their learning, development and personal growth.

You must have worked with children in some capacity & be able to provide us with a reference relating to the role.

The Role

• Support a child with their learning and development as a SEND Teaching Assistant
• As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will contribute to creating a safe, supportive & engaging learning environment
• Build a close bond with children to ensure they feel comfortable both inside & outside the classroom
• Communicate closely with colleagues to ensure progress of students is prioritised as an SEND Teaching Assistant
• Work 1:1 with the child to ensure they achieve their developmental milestones.

Requirements

• MUST have a CHILD & ADULT DBS or willing to get one
• Have experience with children in some capacity you can provide a reference for

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
