Veritas Education is seeking enthusiastic, caring and reliable Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to join our team and work across nurseries in Wandsworth and the surrounding areas of South West London. Flexible daily supply work with immediate start opportunities, across a variety of welcoming nurseries, offering valuable EYFS experience while you choose when you work.

No formal Early Years qualification required; just the right attitude, reliability and a passion for helping young children

Qualifications

Veritas Education is looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to join our team and work across a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries in Wandsworth and the surrounding areas of South West London.

Whether you're looking to gain experience in Early Years, work around other commitments, or take the next step towards a career in childcare, this is a fantastic opportunity to build your experience while choosing when you work.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll support children aged 0-5 years, helping to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, play and develop in line with the EYFS framework.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting children's learning and development through fun, engaging and play-based activities
• Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play
• Supporting children's social, emotional and communication development
• Helping to create a safe, clean and stimulating environment
• Working as part of a team to meet the individual needs of each child
• Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents/carers

We're Looking For

You don't necessarily need a formal Early Years qualification - we're interested in people who have the right attitude, enthusiasm and commitment.

Ideally, you'll have:

• Experience working with children in a nursery, school, childcare or similar setting (desirable, but not essential)
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• A caring, patient and positive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A flexible and reliable attitude
• A willingness to learn and develop within the Early Years sector
