Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare and Early Years Practitioners to work on a flexible daily supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries in Guildford and the surrounding Surrey areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified Early Years professionals looking to gain experience across a variety of nursery settings while enjoying the flexibility to choose when and where they work. Whether you're looking for full-time supply work or just a few days each week, we have opportunities to suit your availability.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, play and thrive in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• A caring, positive and flexible approach to supporting young children
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for Early Years education and supporting children's development

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities
• Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play
• Promoting children's social, emotional and communication development
• Helping to maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment
