Job summary

Veritas Education is actively recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare and Early Years Practitioners to work on a flexible daily supply basis across nurseries in Kingston and the surrounding South West London areas.

You will support children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment in line with the EYFS framework. Start date ASAP with flexible days to suit your availability.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or equivalent (essential).
• Previous nursery or EYFS experience.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Caring, positive and flexible approach to supporting young children.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities.
• Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play.
• Promoting children's social, emotional and communication development.
• Helping to maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment.
• Working collaboratively with nursery staff to deliver high-quality care and education for all children.

Whether you're looking for full-time supply work or just a few days each week, we have opportunities to suit your availability.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, play and thrive in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working within nursery or EYFS settings
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• A caring, positive and flexible approach to supporting young children
