Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking an Unit Manager for the Dagenham operation (Wharf, Depot, Asphalt Drum Plant and Batch Plant). You will lead multi-site operations, drive safety, efficiency and financial performance, and deliver service excellence for key contracts.

You will manage a diverse team, optimise assets and costs, and develop the site teams through coaching and succession planning. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management and a track record of improving operations

Qualificações

• Higher-level vocational or academic qualification.
• NVQ/QCF Level 5 or Level 7 in SHE or Quarry Operations (or equivalent).
• Minimum of two years' relevant management experience.
• Experience managing multiple operational sites and complex plant operations is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, direct and motivate operational teams across the Dagenham unit.
• Deliver operational KPIs in line with business objectives while maintaining costs.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and profitability.
• Maximise utilisation of shared assets, mobile plant, equipment and people across the site.
• Work with Logistics, Technical and Commercial teams to deliver best-in-class customer service.
