Millway House in the UK is seeking a passionate Unit Manager to lead the kitchen team and deliver nutritious, comforting meals to residents. You will drive day-to-day operations, maintain high standards, and create a dining experience that enhances residents’ day.

You will manage a kitchen team, plan menus, handle stock and budgeting, and ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety compliance. The role offers daytime hours, Monday–Friday, with a competitive salary and opportunities for development

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef or Chef Manager, preferably within care, healthcare, or hospitality.
• Strong leadership and people development skills.
• Ability to manage stock, budgeting, and ordering.
• Knowledge of food safety and compliance standards.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible, reliable, hands-on approach.
