Compass Group UK&I seeks a hands-on food production leader to oversee a unit delivering pupil and staff meals with a wide hospitality scope. You will ensure quality service, maintain cost control and optimise resource use, while guiding a professional team in a dynamic environment.

You will drive food innovation, stay current with trends, and uphold health and nutrition guidelines, supported by strong English communication and computer skills.

• Ability to monitor costs and manage budgets effectively.

To organise and supervise the unit in accordance with and to the standards required by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification and statutory Regulations. To be responsible for the overall efficient and effective management of the unit under their control providing a quality service. Responsible for the checking of preparation, cooking and service of food to agreed standards and specification. To ensure the efficient and economic use is made of all resources, including stock, team members and company assets.

• Food Innovation and development is essential along with being up to date with current food trends
• Knowledge on health & nutritional guidelines is essential
