Teaching Assistant – Supporting Students with Unique Learning Needs (Greater Norwich)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with students with unique learning needs, offering individualized assistance.

  • Implement strategies to boost student confidence, communication, and independence.

  • Teach key life skills alongside core literacy and numeracy.

  • Create a warm, supportive environment that fosters self-awareness and belonging.

  • Design engaging learning experiences that encourage collaboration and social development.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Flexible, adaptable, and kind in varied learning situations.

  • Resilient in the face of challenges and proactive in encouraging positive behaviour.

  • Team mentality.
  • Confident in creating constructive, welcoming interactions.

  • Open to professional development and ongoing training.

  • A full UK driving licence is essential.

  • Ideally available to work 5 days per week.

Highly suited to candidates from:
Dementia care, forensic care, prison service, police, Ministry of Defence, or similar high-energy, people-focused roles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
