Teaching Assistant – Supporting Students with Unique Learning Needs (Greater Norwich)

Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with students with unique learning needs, offering individualized assistance.
Implement strategies to boost student confidence, communication, and independence.
Teach key life skills alongside core literacy and numeracy.
Create a warm, supportive environment that fosters self-awareness and belonging.
Design engaging learning experiences that encourage collaboration and social development.
What We’re Looking For:
Flexible, adaptable, and kind in varied learning situations.
Resilient in the face of challenges and proactive in encouraging positive behaviour.
Confident in creating constructive, welcoming interactions.
Open to professional development and ongoing training.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
Ideally available to work 5 days per week.
Highly suited to candidates from:
Dementia care, forensic care, prison service, police, Ministry of Defence, or similar high-energy, people-focused roles.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
