As a result of our expansion plans and ongoing success, we are seeking a Uniformed Loss Prevention Security Officer.

Job Purpose:

This role entails working for the Loss Prevention department as a Uniformed Loss Prevention Security Officer. You will be deployed to our high-risk stores to identify, deter, disrupt, and apprehend offenders for theft, while always maintaining professionalism when dealing with conflict. The work of the Uniformed Officer is crucial in the identification, apprehension, and prosecution of criminals who target our stores. You will also support your Security Team Leader by providing training and development to our retail colleagues in Loss Prevention activity and department objectives.

Accountabilities:

• Deployed to a high-risk store to identify, deter, disrupt, and apprehend theft offenders.
• Utilize CCTV at a monitoring station.
• Generate detailed incident reports and collate evidence to support criminal prosecutions.
• Act as Loss Prevention Champion for the store – conducting communication briefings and training to support stores.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
• Be a subject matter expert for security initiatives.
• Always adhere to company policies and guidelines.

Salary, Hours and Requirements

• Competitive salary
• Full-time permanent contract, 44 hours per week
• Must be fully flexible, working 5 days out of 7, with a mixture of shift patterns
