Allianz Commercial is seeking an Underwriting Business Analyst to join our global Liability underwriting function. The role operates at the intersection of governance, analytics, and change delivery, with open locations in London, Munich, Frankfurt and Madrid.

This early-career opportunity offers exposure to underwriting operations across regions and a chance to contribute to transformation initiatives. You will work with underwriters and stakeholders across regions, supporting portfolio

Qualifications

• Experience in underwriting operations or business analysis is desirable.
• Strong data analytics and reporting skills with ability to draw insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across stakeholders.
• Proactive, curious, and able to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of underwriting transformation initiatives to improve efficiency and consistency across Liability.
• Document current and future-state processes, monitor progress, and assist with change management.
• Maintain Liability Connect and other channels; produce updates and guidance notes for regional underwriting teams.
• Prepare portfolio management reports and KPI analyses to improve visibility of underwriting performance.
• Assist with data collection, validation and reporting; produce insights for portfolio discussions.
• Support maintenance of underwriting rules, guidelines, and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate stakeholder feedback and communications related to underwriting standards; support audit and QA activities.
• Maintain underwriting authority documentation and materials; coordinate training sessions and knowledge-sharing across underwriting community.
