Job summary

Allianz Partners is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join the Underwriting Technical Transformation team within Health Insurance. You will help shape a centralized analytics function, building data pipelines and delivering insights to improve underwriting, pricing, and commercial outcomes.

The role collaborates with Data Science, Data Program, and Pricing teams to deliver KPI dashboards and robust data solutions, leveraging AI-ready tools and cloud-based environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or above in a quantitative discipline from a top-tier university.
• Min. 3 years of relevant data analysis experience, ideally in insurance or healthcare.
• Hands-on experience writing maintainable production-grade Python code.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and SQL optimization, Git, CI/CD, and Power BI.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into insights.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance and drive tasks independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and modernize a data environment roadmap to support commercial and strategic success.
• Technically design and maintain data for the business.
• Apply database and data engineering concepts to deliver analytics.
• Develop production-grade data pipelines for ETL processes.
• Coordinate data projects across teams with varying complexity.
• Collaborate with Data Program/Data Science to create reports and dashboards (Power BI).
• Understand data relationships and translate business MI requirements into solutions.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify pricing and underwriting optimization opportunities.
• Deliver data outputs for senior management presentations.
