Job summary

Markel International is seeking an Underwriting Support Services (USS) teammate to perform precise data entry of insurance policy information into our in-house systems and support underwriting operations from our London office. You will develop broad class knowledge, manage daily workflows, and ensure data accuracy while collaborating with underwriting teams.

Qualifications

Experience in data entry with accuracy and timeliness.
Understanding of in-house systems and MS software.
Consistent high-quality customer focus and service delivery.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry of insurance policy information into in-house systems to defined standards.
Develop broad class knowledge and become a main contact for underwriting teams.
Manage daily workflow and queries, liaising with line manager and underwriting team.
Monitor data accuracy levels using QC reports and dashboards.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with underwriting teams and attend meetings.
Engage with training and support process optimisation, automation and AI initiatives.
