Trading Underwriting Assistant - based in Manchester

Your new company: Your new company is one of the largest MGAs in the UK, with offices across the country, specialising in SME to mid-market Property & Casualty business. They maintain strong relationships with brokers and focus on client-centric underwriting strategies. Due to expansion, a Trading Underwriting Assistant position has arisen within the Existing Business team in Manchester.

Your new role: As a Trading Underwriting Assistant, you will develop broker relationships, deliver excellent customer service, and manage renewals efficiently. You will collaborate with your team to establish the Manchester Centre of Excellence, handle broker and client requests, and operate within your delegated authority. You will also identify opportunities to improve processes.

What you'll need to succeed: Previous experience in a service industry, good customer outcome knowledge, self-motivation, friendliness, relationship-building skills, quick learning ability, teamwork, and deadline management. Excellent communication and organisational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and ideally Cert CII qualification are preferred.
