We are looking for an Underwriting Assistant to join our team! This role will open doors to numerous opportunities for growth and development, including working towards underwriting license levels as appropriate.

A bit about the job:

Your role will include dealing with existing business for brokers and customers, while collaborating within our high-performing team to support in delivering financials. You will be encouraged to embrace and understand Mid-Market strategies and be accountable for day-to-day underwriting activities.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

• Proven record of delivering excellent customer outcomes
• Excellent communication, listening, time management, and negotiating skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a large, complex organization
• The ability to communicate and present effectively to brokers and/or customers
• Experience within Trading/Commercial/Property/Liability underwriting is desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of the FCA and other relevant regulation and legislation is desirable but not essential
