Job summary

Our client is a leading developer of underwater technology and seeks an Electronics Hardware Engineer to develop electronics hardware and embedded firmware across multiple products at various development stages. The role offers a fast-paced environment and exposure to diverse projects.

You will be the technical authority on electronics design, ensure precise documentation, and contribute to refining processes for efficiency. A 2:1+ engineering degree is expected.

Qualifications

  • Design analogue and digital circuits with emphasis on low power.
  • Ensure EMC compliance to EN60945 as applicable.
  • Create circuits and PCB layouts using Altium Designer.
  • Write embedded firmware in C and understand basic C++ OO concepts.
  • Apply simulation to verify designs and reliability.
  • Require 2:1 or higher in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Develop electronics hardware and embedded firmware for multiple products.
  • Act as technical authority on electronics design for new developments.
  • Document designs accurately to enable other engineers to work on projects.
  • Stay up to date with changes in relevant technical areas.
  • Help refine company processes to enable efficient workflows.
