Job summary

Sonardyne is seeking a Senior Electronics Hardware Engineer to join the engineering team and develop the next generation of subsea technology. This is a hands-on role focused on real hardware, prototyping and bench testing.

You will own electronics across products, designing analogue and digital circuits, developing low-noise and low-power systems, and collaborating with software, mechanical and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in analogue and digital hardware design.
• Experience with low-noise, low-power circuitry and sensor interfaces.
• Proficiency in PCB design and debugging in lab environments.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of electronics hardware across Sonardyne products.
• Design analogue, digital and mixed-signal electronics for subsea products.
• Develop low-noise and low-power circuitry and FPGA-based architectures.
• Move designs from concept through prototype to production.
• Write embedded C/C++ to support board bring-up, diagnostics and hardware integration.
• Design with EMC in mind and support EMC testing and compliance activities.
• Plan verification/validation and work with Manufacturing for reliable production.
• Review designs and share expertise with the team.
