Job summary

Parker Jones Group Ltd is recruiting a Site Engineer to deliver complex underground civil engineering works, including launch shaft construction and timber heading tunnel activities.

You will set out works from contract drawings, check plans and quantities, ensure quality control to client specs, provide technical support, and coordinate with installation teams to hand over works with complete records, while upholding high HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Experience on civil engineering projects, especially Civils works.
• Demonstrated ability to set out from contract drawings and ensure accuracy.
• Knowledge of quality control as per client specifications.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Proven troubleshooting skills on-site.

Responsibilities

• Setting out detailed works per contract drawings with regular checks.
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy.
• Ensuring quality control is met and recorded per client specs.
• Providing engineering support to overcome technical problems.
• Conducting pre-start site surveys.
• Timely handover of works with quality records, no defects.
• Promoting high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance.
• Site calibration checks
• Assisting in resolving unexpected technical difficulties
