Job summary

AIRBUS Defence and Space Limited in Stevenage is offering a placement within the Project Management Team for undergraduates. You will assist in end-to-end management of spacecraft antenna projects, often exceeding €20M, ensuring on-time, on-cost and on-quality delivery.

You will gain hands-on experience across design, manufacture and testing, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and using standard tools to prepare high-quality reports and presentations.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautics Engineering, Physics, Business or equivalent.
• Interest in Engineering, Aerospace and Space.
• Experience with engineering projects either in university or in a work experience setting.
• Teamwork, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day coordination of project scope, schedule, budget and risks.
• Contribute to customer-facing reviews and essential project communications.
• Develop understanding of project management principles, risk management and supply chain coordination.
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams to drive project progress.
• Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft Office to prepare presentations, reports and documentation.
