Job summary

BHR Hospitals is seeking a Band 3 Ultrasound Support Worker to join the King George Hospital team in Ilford. You will support Radiologists and Ultrasonographers in General and Maternity Ultrasound units, assist with routine scans and help ensure smooth patient flow and care.

This part-time role covers 30 hours weekly with a salary of £24,504 - £25,876 per year. Applicants should have recent health-care experience and familiarity with radiology IT systems and aseptic technique.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate recent experience in a Health Care environment is required.
• Experience of Administration Systems used in radiology e.g. Aptvision, Careflow and PACS, Viewpoint.
• Experience of working in radiology department or in Maternity.
• Has experience of using aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and tidy rooms, care for patients, monitor vital signs, and assist with IV cannulation (training provided).
• Undertake clinical and administrative duties to support Radiology services.
• Communicate effectively with patients with varying levels of understanding and behaviour.
• Undertake a flexible working pattern to support service needs.
• Provide a comprehensive supporting role to enable smooth Ultrasound service.
