Barking Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Support Worker to assist Radiologists and Sonographers across General and Maternity Ultrasound units at King George’s Hospital. You will help with routine scans, patient care, IV cannulation where trained, and maintain smooth patient flow.

The role involves clerical and data input tasks, empathy for patients, and a flexible work pattern to support the Ultrasound department’s needs.

Qualifications

• Support patients and radiology staff in ultrasound settings.
• Care for patients and communicate effectively with a range of understanding.
• Assist with routine scans and IV cannulation training as needed.

• Prepare and tidy rooms, care for patients, monitor vital signs.
• Assist Radiologists and Ultrasonographers in General and Maternity Ultrasound units.
