Job summary

Precision Acoustics Ltd is seeking a Sensors Project Engineer to lead bespoke ultrasonic sensor projects world-wide, from enquiry through design, manufacture and delivery. You will join a collaborative team in Dorchester, with training provided to build specialist knowledge in ultrasound transducers and acoustics.

Qualifications

• Experience in transducer design or construction methods.
• Familiarity with acoustic measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes or hydrophones.
• Knowledge of electronics relevant to acoustic sensors.

Responsibilities

• Drive product development as a technical authority in the sensors team (-ultrasonic sensors).
• Secure key customer accounts for the sensors team and projects.
• Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of customer-facing sensors projects.
• Manufacture and support for new product development.
• Assist with proposals and design assembly processes.
