Job summary

London-based consultancy is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to join its team. The role involves a mix of acoustic design, site work and technical reporting across varied projects including commercial, residential and cultural developments.

You will work with architects, MEP engineers and other consultants from early design through to completion, carrying out surveys, producing calculations, and supporting design work with a focus on building acoustics.

Qualifications

• Degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics or related.
• Experience in acoustic consultancy or engineering environment.
• Experience carrying out acoustic surveys and assessments.
• Strong report-writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a wider project team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out acoustic surveys and site measurements.
• Producing calculations, assessments and technical reports.
• Supporting acoustic design work across a range of projects.
• Using acoustic modelling and analysis software.
• Working alongside architects, engineers and wider project teams.
• Attending site visits and project meetings.
