Job summary
Phoenix Inspection Systems Limited, part of Nova Ventures Group, seeks an experienced Applications Development Engineer to support development and optimization of advanced ultrasonic NDT technologies at its Warrington facility. Onsite work is preferred, with remote arrangements possible for exceptional expertise.
The successful candidate will contribute to PAUT, FMC, TFM, data acquisition and signal processing, collaborating with R&D and engineering teams to deliver innovative inspection
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Master's degree or PhD preferred.
- Extensive experience in ultrasonic NDT product R&D (5+ years).
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical SME in advanced ultrasonic NDT applications (PAUT, FMC, TFM, PCI).
- Collaborate with R&D and engineering to develop new ultrasonic inspection technologies and features.
- Develop and optimize ultrasonic data acquisition and signal processing methods.
- Translate customer requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
- Support product development through simulation, validation, testing and evaluation.
- Provide technical expertise to global sales teams for complex customer applications.
- Conduct customer demonstrations, equipment evaluations, and technical training.
