You will manufacture components to micron tolerances, reading detailed drawings and performing first-off inspections, while maintaining traceability, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating Single Point Diamond Turning or CNC Lathe machinery.
• Ability to manufacture components to micron and sub-micron tolerances.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using precision metrology and inspection equipment.
• Understanding of TPM and preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Set, operate and optimise Diamond Turning machines to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret drawings, specifications and documentation accurately.
• Manufacture to micron and sub-micron tolerances.
• Inspect finished components using precision metrology equipment.
• Maintain process sheets and traceability throughout production.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
