Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company in the UK is seeking a UKIE Ice Cream Demand Planning Manager to balance cash, cost and service while delivering accurate demand inputs and leading end-to-end planning. You will drive S&OP, align commercial, supply chain and finance, and lead a small team to improve forecast accuracy and service levels.

Expect to collaborate across Sales, Marketing and Finance, using Kinaxis and ERP tools to optimize inventory and reduce waste in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Has Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Economics, Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Has minimum of 5-7 years of experience in demand planning and S&OP.
• Has strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP (SAP4 HANA), machine learning tools, and demand planning software/s (Kinaxis).
• Has excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Forecast management: Develop and maintain accurate short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using machine learning models / AI driven forecasting tools, market intelligence, and cross-functional inputs.
• S&OP leadership: Lead the demand planning component of the S&OP process, ensuring alignment across commercial, supply, and finance functions.
• Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to gather insights on promotions, product launches, and market trends.
• Performance monitoring: Track forecast accuracy and bias; implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast reliability.
• Service and inventory optimization: Support inventory planning by balancing service levels, working capital, and supply constraints while minimizing waste.
• Data & systems: Leverage planning tools (FEU, Kinaxis) and analytics platforms to drive data-driven decisions.
• Line management: Lead, coach, develop your team of Demand and Response Planners (4 team members).
