AWD Online is seeking a hands-on Site Technician / Engineering Technician to work across the UK on varied structures. You will undertake structural investigation, testing and surveying with experienced colleagues, using specialist equipment and on-site data collection.

The role includes training, nationwide travel, occasional nights away and flexible hours. A driving licence is essential, and a strong background in concrete, steel and masonry is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Site experience with competence using site tools and equipment.
• Understanding of building fabrics: concrete, steel and masonry.
• Full and valid UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel nationwide, stay away from home and work additional hours as required.

Responsabilités

• Undertake structural investigations, testing and surveying under supervision.
• Log site data and take clear, accurate notes.
• Assist with data analysis and reporting.
• Operate specialist equipment safely (Ferroscan, covermeters, PUNDIT, Schmidt Hammers, GPR, core drills).
• Ensure work meets relevant standards and client requirements.
• Follow health and safety policies and site procedures.
• Support senior staff and help develop junior colleagues.
• Travel to UK sites and work in varied environments.
