AWD online invites applications for a Trainee Engineering Technician role, offering hands-on training across client sites and an Ellesmere Port laboratory. This entry-level, full-time position includes a minimum 37.5 hours per week and a four-month probation, with opportunities to work away from home and travel nationwide.

Ideal candidates have some college-based qualification or basic engineering knowledge and must be computer literate with MS Office.

Competenze

• Computer literacy with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Full UK Driving Licence (6 points or less)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills
• Good time-management and organisational skills
• Willingness to travel nationwide and work away from home
• Flexibility to work additional hours, including evenings/weekends/nights

Mansioni

• Support long and short-term engineering and construction testing projects
• Assist daily on-site and laboratory testing activities
• Record, validate and check test data accurately
• Assist with data analysis, reporting and certification of testing work
• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment and manage storage
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements
• Collaborate effectively within a small project team
• Perform routine vehicle checks and keep areas tidy and organized
• Follow company policies at all times
