Job summary

Adeptus Talent Limited is seeking two experienced HV Commissioning Engineers to join a growing HV engineering team. The role covers full HV testing and commissioning from 11kV to 132kV across the UK, with SAP status essential and the ability to work independently on site.

You'll perform primary/secondary testing, switchgear and transformer commissioning, relay testing, and SCADA interfaces while liaising with DNOs and clients. A company vehicle and healthcare are among the package benefits.

Qualifications

• HV commissioning experience with HV networks (33kV–132kV).
• Experience with substations, grid connections or HV infra.
• Protection relay testing experience.
• Familiar with DNO/ICP networks and G59/G99 processes.
• CSCS/ECS site certification and relevant qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform full HV testing and commissioning on site.
• Conduct HV switchgear and transformer commissioning.
• Carry out protection relay testing and functional checks.
• Interface with SCADA/control systems and prepare commissioning docs.
• Liaise with DNOs, ICPs, clients and project teams.
• Support energisation activities and on-site fault diagnostics.
