Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a meticulous Transport Planner for our Multi-User operation in Kettering. You will be responsible for daily UK transport plans, ensuring service levels while balancing cost, with a Monday–Friday 10:30–18:30 schedule.

The role requires experience in transport planning, knowledge of tachograph legislation, and proficiency with Transport Management Systems (INES, Paragon desirable). Strong communication and data analysis skills are essential to meet deadlines and client

Qualifications

• Experience operating in a transport environment in a transport planning role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of tachograph legislation and the Working Time Directive.
• Experience with Transport Management Systems such as INES; Paragon experience desirable but training provided.
• Proven communicator able to engage with colleagues, clients and end customers by phone and email.
• Able to analyse data, monitor KPIs and support cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and develop the daily transport plan across the UK, balancing cost and service.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients and end customers to ensure service levels and issue resolution.
• Promote and administer transport operations in line with policy and regulations.
• Monitor client volume forecasts to support future transport plans and resource allocation.
• Create and present KPI measurements and monthly reports; identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Attend regular calls with clients to discuss volumes and upcoming needs.
