Job summary

CEVA Logistics in the UK is seeking a meticulous Transport Planner for its Kettering operation to manage daily transport plans across the UK. The role supports delivery demands, liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure service levels are met.

You will analyse data, monitor volumes, and contribute to KPI reporting, working closely with the Transport Supervisor to optimize resources and costs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a transport planning role within a transport environment.
• Knowledge of tachograph legislation and working time directive.
• Experience with Transport Management Systems (INES) or similar.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the daily transport plan for UK delivery demands.
• Utilise CEVA fleet and sub-contractors to balance cost and service.
• Liaise with internal teams, clients and end customers to meet service levels.
• Create, produce and present KPI measurements and monthly reports.
• Attend regular client calls to discuss volumes and needs.
