Northern Trust in the United Kingdom seeks a seasoned Manager to lead the UKTA New Business & Fund Activity Team. You will govern onboarding/offboarding and fund lifecycle activity, ensuring priorities are clear, resources allocated, risks managed, and delivery meets quality and timelines.

You will oversee cross-functional collaboration with Technology, Risk, Compliance and Client teams while driving process improvements and reporting across the portfolio.

• Experience leading teams responsible for complex new business, fund activity and operational change.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory obligations and audit-ready evidence.
• Proven ability to govern multiple concurrent assignments with structured planning and reporting.

• Lead, motivate and develop the UKTA New Business & Fund Activity Team with clear priorities and standards.
• Manage allocation of new business, fund activity, transition and change assignments by complexity and risk.
• Oversee delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, testing, approvals and operational readiness.
• Ensure appropriately authorised Partners lead and independently review activity.
• Maintain control environment including ownership, duties segregation, quality review and escalation.
• Provide governance over client and fund setup across transfer-agency systems.
• Sustain procedures, runbooks, operating models and lessons learned.
• Oversee requirements, design, testing, implementation readiness and post-implementation review.
• Produce management reporting on portfolio status, capacity, risks and outcomes.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and succession planning.
