TPA Recruit is supporting an established global technology manufacturer in the search for a Technical Support & Service Manager to lead its UK Technical Support function.

This hands-on leadership role manages a team of approximately eight Support Engineers across hardware, software and connected systems. The successful candidate will combine technical aptitude with customer-facing management experience, and will travel for UK site visits and occasional international assignments.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of a technical support or field services team.
• Strong networking and connectivity knowledge with practical experience.
• Experience handling customer escalations and communicating with stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Lead the UK Technical Support team, set priorities and develop the team.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for complex hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Improve support, warranty, repair and escalation processes using data.
• Coordinate installation, retrofit work and cross-functional investigations.
