2020 Recruitment Limited is recruiting a UK Statutory Reporting Accountant for a 12-month contract based in Portlethen, Aberdeen. The role involves preparing statutory accounts for several UK entities with international operations, coordinating with external auditors, and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and US GAAP.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with UK statutory reporting experience.
• Extensive UK GAAP (FRS 102) and US GAAP knowledge.
• Experience coordinating audits with external auditors.
• Ability to convert US GAAP to UK GAAP adjustments.
• Strong Excel and Word skills and reporting process improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Oil and gas experience is advantageous (desirable).

Responsabilités

• Coordinate statutory audits for UK entities within the group.
• Prepare statutory accounts under FRS 102.
• Manage US GAAP to UK GAAP adjustments.
• Liaise with external auditors and finance teams.
• Support management papers on complex transactions.
• Keep up to date with statutory accounting developments.
• Assist with transfer pricing and European reporting.
• Complete Office for National Statistics surveys.
• Deliver accurate reporting within deadlines.
